Madagascar Hissing Cockroaches.
I went to a local petshop yesterday. They know I have millipedes and they asked me what I thought of Hissing Cockroaches. I cringed. I hate roaches.
The lady asked me if I wanted to take the 11 adult cockroaches that they had home that she would give them to me. So, I now have 11 hissing cockroaches. I was going to move them to a large tank and I noticed that I not only have 11 adult hissing cockroaches, I have about 50 BABY cockroaches. Fun fun.
Anyone know where to get good information on them?

\"They like the daytime temperature to be around 88-96 degrees (Fahrenheit), and no lower than 68 degrees at night. A convenient heating method is to keep their enclosure on or next to a cable TV box or other non-moving electrical appliance. Although, they will live in cooler climates, they tend to be less active, grow more slowly, and need more food.\"
I seem to have one male with 10 females. That guy must be busy. It should be about 3-4 months (I'm not really sure, but I read that they stay with mom for that long) that the little ones are ready to go. I'd love it if you would want some, I'd give you as many as you want, I'll even throw in a home for them.
Oh, and *hug*!
