I've been super busy lately working on tunics and such, but I thought I'd drop off a thought or two about my writing project.
As I'd mentioned earlier, I'm going to be sending them up in segments- more like chapters- about 8-pages at a time. My ultimate goal is to turn this novel into something more of a full-media experience. While animation is well out of my grasp just yet, illustration and music is not so much. I would like every chapter to have an illustration as well as its own, original composition.
Now, ever since '94, when I first got into Furry, I'd wished someone would do a kinda open publication, where lots of furries could submit art and possibly take part in the final composition, but the only open mags back there were either porno (which I love, mind you- I just refused to publiush it back then) or you really had to intimately know the publisher.. Really, There were a few good ones out there, I'd just never heard of them..
So, I'm thinking of doing that which I wished someone else would do way back then, and I'm gonna open each chapter up to others. If folks are interested, then my goal is to have one unique illo per chapter, and I'd REALLY love to have a unique artist per chapter as well, so every chapter is a different artist.
Now, yeah, I'm a poor dragon, so it's not like I can commission each song and drawing properly. All I can do is offer a copy of the book from the first printing (I'm gonna try and bind the first run by hand in a really neat and creative cover.. or at least get them profesionally printed and hand-make slipcovers.. wither way, there will be a good deal of hand-attention to each copy. After the first run. though, I'm gonna look into cafe'Press or other self-publishing methods.
If this book does well enough, then the second will be even easier to produce :) :) Anyway. Anyone have any thoughts?

Add in the fact that I'm currently taking classes for Community College, and I've still got at least four or five requests/drawings to get done, and I'm way too busy to contribute to your project. :(
But again, I'd like to wish you the best with the project and I hope it turns out well. :)
For the most part, I'd like to place the Illos as chapter plates, at the beginning of each chapter, but if I just get Wacky, insane interest, then I may do illos inside the text as well. Ya never know, right?
Anyway, as I'd mentioned previously, I'll be trying to post chapter one tomorrow. I'ma do one final read over the first part, to be sure that all of my details match up just right. I've also got someone who's working on an illo, so hopefully I'll be able to post it up soon as well ;) (He's not a furry, but is interested in the story) I'd LIKE to post a map of the world today. i just need to ink it up a little, scan it in and make it all purdy.. there's also a Wicki coming up soon that will have more info about all th einteresting locations and stuff.. anyway. questions, comments, suggestions, complaints.. all welcome. :) :)
I would prefer if i was maybe told a couple pics i could do and waht size or something -_-;
I would love to try my hand at this though so ill keep a watch out!

Another thing! I dont have to like a chapter to do it! if you want me to draw a part or something or maybe anything from (blank) chapter then i will so jsut ask away...in the meantime...zzzZZZZ
Unfortunetly, not right now, I've just come back from a rock festival and my arms really ache. xP But I might do it once I fully recover.

And, just a side note, but you kinda look like a friend of mine almost to the T! :) And, even more amusing, his character is draconic in nature. :D
I'm glad to hear that other projects like this have worked so well :) :) I'm really getting excited :)
