The largest file share website in the world was closed Thursday by the FBI. Its founder, a German named Kim Dotcom, and six others were indicted for conspiracy to commit racketeering, conspiracy, copyright infringement and conspiracy to money laundering. Both companies and MegaUpload Vestor Limited are also covered by the law. The defendants could face up to 50 years in prison for all charges.

As a sign of protest, Anonymous hackers had hacked the site of the U.S. Department of Justice. They also had to deal with the FBI site.
