'Nyan Cat!' "What about Android?"
So when I released 'Nyan Cat!' for iOS, a bunch of people came forward asking why it wasn't on Android. The answer? I didn't have an Android device or a license for Unity Android, and those cost money I didn't have. Recently, I was able to get everything I needed for $600 and release 'Nyan Cat!' on Android for $0.99.
The iOS version was free, yeah, but this includes both in-app purchases, so in a way it's half-off. I didn't want to put in-app purchases in the Android version with that one company suing everybody under the sun. We dodged a bullet with the iOS version because they never actually responded to our response when they asked to settle with us. So yeah, 'Nyan Cat!' on Android is a complete version that includes everything and will include anything released in the future.
So, uhh, long story short, sales really, REALLY blow. More people wanted this app then bought it. I've sold, like, 6 copies total over the past few days. One copy yesterday. People are just not finding it. It's not that people just aren't interested any more. I get thousands of downloads and hundreds of sales each day on iOS. If anyone out there is interested, please download it. Maybe it'll pull the app out of the pile of crap a bit and get it noticed. Reviews would help too!
If you have an Android device, you can get the app here: https://market.android.com/details?.....m.ante.nyancat
It'll be on the Amazon store as well, once it gets through their approval process. I developed this on a Kindle Fire and I want Kindle Fire users to be able to get it without having to go through all of the trouble of installing Android Market on it.

Obviously, if there is a way you can find out why you're not in those search results, and get included in them, that would be a big step toward getting sales.
If there is a way you can file a dispute to Google against all of the unofficial Nyan Cat apps trashing up the market right now, so that someone searching for Nyan Cat will only see the OFFICIAL Nyan Cat game, that will give you a massive leg up as well.
I guess I'm the 8th purchase :P
I'm afraid I'm an iOS user here...and I had not heard about this app before, so I might just have to check it out!
But I don't think you can expect Android sales to hit iOS levels within a week, especially if no one knows it's out there yet. I mean I've not seen PR say 'NOW AVAILABLE ON ANDROID!!!' yet, for example.
All I'm saying is don't give up hope! NEVER GIVE UP HOPE. SPREAD THE WORD!
NOT THAT I EVER WANT TO CLOSE YOUR APP DON'T GET ME WRONG.
It doesn't necessarily need a quit button, but certainly in most Android apps if you press the hardware back button on the main menu it'll quit, or bring up a 'are you sure you want to quit?' type dialog. The best advice I can offer is Android uses the back button all the time for everything.
