the fact that you're reading this means it also applies to you.
We all heard of the SOPA/PIPA/ACTA bills and laws that were trying to be passed. we all know how much everyone hates and despises their existence.... but are ANY OF US "ACTUALLY" DOING ANYTHING ABOUT IT?
i want everyone to watch this
EVERYONE is affected by this, and the bill hasn't even been passed.
DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT! this isn't a conspiracy theory or the works of a mad-man. THIS IS REALLY HAPPENING! the events are real, and aside from this video, there is media everywhere reporting of the horrors that are becoming because of us and our country.
every time you go see a movie, every time you buy a cd, every time you watch a PPV event, ect. YOU'RE SUPPORTING THE COMPANIES THAT CONTINUE TO SUPPORT THIS LAW IN CONGRESS! of course you're supporting the artist and creators, but the corporations are making the larger profits.
SIGN THE PETITION, SPREAD THE WORD, DO SOMETHING TO STOP THIS!

I'll still be buying my media through legal channels. I just buy a lot less now since most of it is crap. I refuse to put money down on product that isn't worth my money.
however, i believe O'Dwyer is still to be extradited. make sure you sign the petition. :) just cuz the bill is shelved doesn't mean it's over

which btw, I consider a load of BS D:< there's way worse criminals on the streets and they devote their fucking time to take to jail someone who didn't do anything bad =(
fortunately he's also getting a lot of help from a very famous lawyer that specializes in internet cases o.o saw the video
but again, if you ever downloaded a song, video, or file online for free, without permission.... than by law, you'll be fined $150,000 for each offense, and be imprisoned for up to 15 years. that's essentially what this law is trying to do. eliminate the freedom of the internet, and turn America into a police state, because we all know A SHIT TON OF US would be imprisoned at that point.

truth is, they had this planned out. :\
