so guess what guys. SOPA was a ruse, a disguise. Turns out you were right Nuka, it's a cover up. For the past three years 39 of the worlds major countries have been negotiating a treaty called ACTA, which will be much MUCH worse. this treaty doesnt just block the internet though, it has the power to halt the production of life saving drugs and even certain crops, all in the name or patent rights.
This needs to stop. This bullshit has gone too far. three years under out noses? Hah, lets see how ACTA fairs in the light of day. It's time to raise your banners once more and march on the root of all evil. lets shut this treaty down.

but good call, if nothing else SOPA will have woken up people to some of the issues we have to deal with in our generation
Governments have always been doing things behind our backs in closed rooms. You can't trust those greedy bastards because they don't care about the their country or quite frankly...the world. So to me things like this are completely expected.
And it'll never end. Someday a few governments maybe be restored to something just and right, but give it time and it'll become corrupt again. Because people with the ambition for power will lust for more, and thus corruption will ensue, growing and growing until the country collapses- just as they all eventually do.
