frostbite
so i typically wear some pretty thick socks indoors this time of year. i keep my feet dry. i don't go in the snow at all if i can avoid it. i wear some big, warm, dry boots when i do have to go out in snow.
never the less
indoors, in a heated house, i got mild frostbite on some of my toes.
i am pretty sure i'd die of exposure if i went outside for more than like 15 minutes and it's not even 'that cold' by new england standards.
i knew i should have taken the 'warm weather ops only' warning on my user manual more seriously

I admit, I sometimes skimp out of a few options of thicker winter wear just to get something done quick out side. I probably look rather stupid taking out the trash with my boat, short and heavy jacket. Can't be bothered with long john's and pants to just take out the trash in the snow.
at least thats my excuse x3
i was reading that an early indicator was when your toes turn purple. to which i went 'well fuck, mine are always purple, especially in the winter.'
Even now, indoors in a heated house while it snows off and on outside, my feet feel cold compared to the rest of me.
Though I'm a little surprised you didn't catch on before they started changing colors. I thought frost bight was supposed to hurt terribly even before that color changes becomes noticeable.
i mean it hurts to put them somewhere warm or under hot water for a while, but i wouldn't call it 'terrible' hurt.
but again, what i have is really mild frostbite. i bet if it were more serious it'd hurt a lot more.
maybe if i was a wussy but i ain't no wussy.
And, if you throw them in the microwave first to warm them up, oh bliss!
Bunners
oh holy fuck it was agony. i kept thinking of that bit in the actual story version of the little mermaid where it describes that each time she takes a step on her human legs it feels like knives are stabbing her in her feet BECAUSE IT FELT LIKE THOUSANDS OF MICROSCOPIC KNIVES WERE STABBING MY FEET WITH EACH STEP
i was certain i must have been leaving bloody footprints, but of course was not.
i have an vegetative-vascular dystonia, sure, it is not good but i feel myself like Artas on frozen throne xD
but i am have very strong resistance for cold weather, at least, last winter i walking without a hat and sweater with -30 outdoor and...nothing o.O
i dunno, maybe i m robot or have nords' blood, is it true that russians partially have viking ancestors?
%)
and not a chick...
just likeness...
oh this genetic things...
in canada.
and he acted like it was no big deal.
But happening in the warm indoors with thick socks? Sounds like it might be a vascular issue.
And yeah, I totally agree about persons having their own climate configuration. Wanna bet that the 'polar bear' types who ridicule others for being uncomfortable in freezing weather are the same ones who bitch endlessly when the temperature gets about 80 F?
