You make me miss my rats lol. One of my girls would always sit on my shoulder while I cooked so her nickname was Remy. <3 And all5 of my girls would make cuddle-piles in my hoodie pockets, hood, and whatever other part they could reach!

Hoodies are perfect for rat-love. it's so fun to walk around the house with a rat curled up in the hood or pocket, poking out for a whisker-kiss every now and again.

My tiny black hooded rat Eclipse was friends with a 15lb long hair tomcat. She'd crawl under his armpit, come out his chest, hide under his legs, and loved to groom him. He protected her against the other two cats in the house and slept on her cage at night. She'd wake up and pull his fur through the bars and clean it.

Avalynn Rosewood liked pencaps and banana chips. She had a fused tail so it looked more like a bent hamstertail than a regular long rat tail. She used to clean my eyelids for me. Out of all my rats, she had a special place in my heart. She died the night I got engaged (the first time)

I caught Damien mastrabating and its the first time i had gotten a "GAWD MOM, KNOCK FIRST" look from a pet. He was my only dumbo. He was very well trained and knew about 10 commands. His favorite place to hide out was this old fry case box that we dubbed his castle and cut a door in for him.

Yuki was one of the smallest rats I've ever owned but she was a bully. She was a hairless and had the cutest curly whiskers. When I first got her she was supposed to be for rat food and assumed to be a boy because her girlbits hung out (as is normal with rats, its just normally covered with fur) We found her a new home with another naked rat and they became the best of friends.

Templeton was my first rat. He was an albino. He loved running in the garden of wildflowers we had in the back yard and rubbing himself against the stems of some of them. We nicknamed that plant Ratnip and i can still tell you what it is if I see it (but i never learned the real name) He was almost killed by a hamster as a baby. It bit a hole in his neck and we almost lost him. ... He and his brother took care of said hamster when it escaped its cage and came after him again.

I have used googledocs for text RPs with some success, it's cool 'cause you can just add the folks you want to to editing status, there are ways to make comments on particular sections and even a little side chat feature should it be lively enough to warrant that.

That sounds like it makes a lot of sense. If I manage to get back into this RP thing maybe we can try that! :)

My middle/high school was brand new when I first started attending in 6th grade. We didn't even have a school mascot yet, so we'd have student polls of what the mascot should be, but no one could ever really decided for a few years. Now, since it was such a small school (my graduating class was 32 students), everyone knew everyone, and we had some privileges that a lot of students our age didn't usually get...Such as I had permission to bring my pet rats to school pretty often. I had an agouti hooded rat named Cassie that I brought most Fridays of my 8th grade year. Not long after Cassie kept attending school, a mascot was settled on; we became the 'River Rats' :D
