Please don't call yourself gay and a furry in the same breath.

I will. I am a gay furry, I apologize if you believe that by me saying that brings a bad rep to the furry fandom but furries (being gay or straight) bring the bad rep to themselves. Both of those factors are apart of who I am and what I represent, so please don't crusade for the furry fandom to become "wholesome, good, and pure" on my journal/page Sleet, because it can cause, as I love to say, a lot of butt hurt. Being gay is not a sin nor is its abnormal it is found throughout our world and even in some cultures (before our current Abrahamic religions came along) it was encouraged. Gay should not and will not on my page/journal carry a negative meaning to it. You are entitled to your own beliefs but please keep it to yourself and refrain from pushing them onto me or my friends.

Not to mention you're making a LOT of assumptions about me, many of which aren't right. I'm not even trying to argue what you're trying to argue.

It doesn't matter if people believe it comes in a pair. There are a lot of bi and gay furs out there, so it really shouldn't affect you what people believe. Also, the way you stated what you said came across like that so next time make yourself clearer so there won't be as many assumptions as you say.

It does matter to the people who aren't both. The fewer assumptions people make about furries (and gays for that matter), the better.

Assumptions will always be made and it shouldn't bother you that much shrug it off and when someone makes an assumption correct them if there wrong, it's that simple.

I'm not worried about me, especially when this particular assumption is partially correct. I care about other people, and I've had friends who have been really hurt in the past because other people got the wrong ideas about what being furry and being gay are and are not.

sounds like you've got a pretty fulfilling life, you may be giving yourself too much too do causes you to be too stressed at night to sleep. I also use to have to take melatonin, I was also working night shift for a year and a half though and had to sleep during the day.

I think its the fact I'm taking engineering in college too and I have to succeed now or else I will get kicked out by ROTC.
