I just talked to my mom, who gave me back my laundry and it seems that when my dad took one of the dogs into the vets for odd lumps near his neck, the tests that came back apparelty say that he has some form of cancer, which apparently has also spread to areas under his front and back legs.

My mom was close to crying when she told me all this. Even if we were to spend thousands of dollars to help, it may give him a year. What kind of year could that possibly be having to go through surgeries and recovery periods and all that. The only thing that is one worry is if his brother (from same litter) could get it later as well. Or, how the other dog will handle it due to the two being so close to each other.

All sorts of crazy crap going on it seems.
