Hello watchers!
If you're seeing this, it's because I have set myself a goal. A very specific goal. A goal which follows a vow I have personally made.
That vow? I vow to raise 450$ to get myself a Strype commission... as soon as he opens up again, of course >.>
But Hex! You have a job! Just buy it with your hard earned money! Yes yes, that is true, I could just do that. OR, in the spirit of trying to improve my artwork (particularly in drawing tech), I can offer up commissions for ONCE in my LIFE!!
I have decided to start a personal quest, alongside my list of free work and my webcomic, to start taking commissions temporarily in order to raise money through art-work to get myself a Strype commission. Now because I have the WORST work ethics out there (seriously, I'm tempted to buyer beware myself after I post this journal), I am only going to take commissions of single-character artwork in waves of three at 10$ - 15$ per.
In the spirit of also improving my artistic skill, I'd prefer to draw sci-fi, high-tech themed stuff, so anything with hi-tech armour suits or weapons is prefered, though I will draw anything provided you ask if I'm okay with it first.
So. Prices.
-Single Character Sketch: 10$
-Single Character Line-Art*: 12$
-Single Character Digital*: 15$

Steep, but so worth it in my opinion. Strype does some bloody amazing work.

He sure does, but, with that kind of money, I'd rather get myself a nice trip somewhere...

True. But I can earn that money easily through my job alone. In this case, I'm looking to earn it all through commissions as a sort of pet project. Not a cent of my job earnings will be spent on that commission, only what I earn through these commissions. I figure it'd be a nice goal to set, and a major boost to my confidence if I can reach it :3

Well, in that case, I guess you're right. Quite a nice confidence boost if you can make it, and it isn't taking off from your usual budget. Well, good luck with that! ^^
