Am now mostly recovered from FC last week. FC 2012 was one of the best I've been to since I started going to the convention. I managed to snag some incredibly good art from my favorite artists, as well as getting introduced to some new ones who I'll certainly be returning to.

This is the first year I decided to try out some of the crazy parties that go on in the after-hours of FC.  kazen101 considers these parties to be "FC for me every year." Sadly we did not get raging drunk, this time anyway, but they were still fun, if a little crowded. I think the Klingons beat the Communists this year.

I also think Volleyball should be a furry meme. It was both funny and irritating to have to walk through the scores of Volleyball Moms to get back to my hotel, often times with adult material in hand. I can only imagine the awkward conversations between mingling parties. I only once heard a mom ask a con-goer what the convention was about. I'm curious what people's answers to that would be?
I'm a little bugged that we didn't get the WHOLE convention center, and virtually everything was in the Marriott. Think of how many artists we could bring in if we had been able to put the dealer's room in one of those big rooms where the Volleyball tournaments were taking place? Though I also recall a bunch of Volleyball players yelling out that they love furries to some passing fur-suiters, and it sounded genuine. Maybe there is hope?

Anyway, I've got a lot more commission scans to post. Still waiting on a few Okay's from the artists, but I'm pretty sure they'll eventually agree. I want everyone here to be able to see and enjoy the artwork these talented folks have produced. Also, if you want higher quality scans, note me and I'll email you my original, pre-sized-for-FA scans. They're all just under 4 megs at full size.
