Up In Smoke

Have you ever had that feeling when you just finished an entire project in photoshop, tried to save it, had it crash, and lose every goddamned thing you've been spending your whole day working on?
If not, well... consider yourself luckier than me!
I'm gonna try to start this thing over again. Not much else I can do. Just wanted to give you guys a heads-up that I had art, but the dog ate it.

FA+

However, I was pressed by time due to the crash... :\
In the end, I still managed a decent grade, but I know I could have done better had I worked the full time. XD
*hugs*
But yeah, lesson learned that day: save often in incremental file names (IE: exam0001, exam0002, etc...). Saved my ass a few times since.
Either way, we've all been there at some point. Best wishes.
I have a fear of that happening (especially with how unstable Photoshop is on my computer), so I sometimes do "checkpoint saves" by adding a number to the file name, therefore preserving the other work-in-progress. That way if there's a catastrophic crash-save, at least I won't have lost the entire work... just a portion of it.
