Neither do I.
So apparently some scientists are tying to get "grief" classified as a medical disorder. We're not talking about like excessive and unwarranted sadness. No, they're trying to medicate people for being normally sad after something happens like a loved one dies.
Now, I know I'm no expert, but I was under the impression that learning to cope with grief and to let go was part of growing as a person. Isn't this completely counterproductive to raising functional human beings? Are we really at the point where medical companies are trying to medicate us into a zombified state where we willingly hand over all of our money for a pill we don't need to solve a problem that doesn't exist?
