So I have been thig to adopt a dog for a week and a half now. And ive finally done it!
I adopted a 1 and a half year old Siberian husky mix. She is so pretty!!! Her name is Amber and I love her to death. But she pees on EVERYTHING BUT MY YARD.
Any tips to fix that?

i have no idea. all the cat's at my place were from the streets, so they're already house broken. Unless they plan to mark territory ...

Be sure to get some Odo-Ban, or whatever equivalent is available in your area. It'll have an enzyme in it that breaks down the chemical tag in pet urine that they use to mark their territory; this way, they don't keep peeing on stuff indoors. Spray it on to help clean it up as soon as you notice.

You could as for a pee pad from the place you adopted her from. keep it on her until till she gets outside. that way she'll slowly get the message inside is not the place to use the facilities. IT worked with my dog.

Usually, it's the smartest idea that you tend to stay near the back door, when dogs want to go out to do they're duty, some of them don't bark and just wait for someone till they are forced to do they're duty inside. I know, from personal experiences with 3 dogs ^_^;;
