I should just get a job...

Talking about how much people bother me. I'm not going to list names or anything, but I have a feeling those that I have in mind will know who they are.
So, the brand of sand that's gotten into my vagina today is people who use life threatening, seriously horrendous diseases to get money purely for commissions. I've seen a few people do this on here, and like I said I won't name who, but this really gets under my skin. I mean, really people... if you're claiming that you were sick with things like cancer or ebola or whatever the fuck else people will think of to use, and then you suddenly get a string of commissions from very talented artists right after you post a journal to get donations, that just reeks of depravity.
And, before anyone argues that I'm going a little too far or that maybe they had a fair chunk left over, I'm more than willing to bet anyone in that situation would save whatever they had to ensure they could pay their future hospital bills. Yes, if you use twenty bucks to get yourself a picture while your sick and it makes you smile, fine. But when you have 100+ bucks sitting around after your payments, common sense suggests that you should use it to ensure your life's longevity.
That's my rant for the day. So, have a nice one and please, go stick a fork in a socket. Your poor brain could use the extra jolt to complete a synapse.

Ugh, when I'm like that, I wouldn't ask for donations... I probably wouldn't even say anything on a journal until after I had recovered, save a few friends I'm close to. I can't bring myself to ask for funds, even if its needed. Personal thing of mines, but I hate owing people >>; Tis why I work for my things.

the most I would have said is "I'm sick. WIsh me luck and full health" I'm not gonna spend what i consider recovery money on art unless it's 10 here, maybe 20 there. I would rather be seen as not well in the body then not well in the mind

Precisely the point. Letting your friends know is a good thing to do, but taking money when you're really not sick and using it on commissions is just wrong.
