Art Status:
Whoa nelly, it's been quite a long time since I've done anything with this account but view, comment, save, fap -- y'know, the usual. It's been over two months since I last added a peice of artwork, so I've scanned a couple now that I feel are worth putting up -- the reason I hadn't for so long is because I was lacking in a proper sized scanner, as I bought some new high-quality paper that's too big for my old one. x3! I have yet to get a proper scanner though, so these may suffer from a bit less quality than usual until I get one -- I just really wanted to throw a couple of these up here since it's been so long!
Vacation:
I've been working my ass off the last few weeks, having had only two days off in the past three weeks, and working overtime on four occasions. x3! And being on midnight shift for them hasn't helped, leaving me effortless throughout most of the day, sleeping too long, etc -- But come March 8th, I'll have a two-week vacation readied up, just in time for the US/Canada release of Super Smash Brothers Brawl, the way Jesus would have wanted it. <3 So after leaving work on March 7th, I won't have to go back until the 24th! I've yet to have had such a long break from work since I started there, so I eagerly anticipate it. We'll have friends coming over, Brawl, and hopefully I'll squeeze more drawing time in, too. :3 I look forward to it like nothing else~
Audiosurf Love (Perhaps a meme, even?)
Those close to me know that I've recently been losing a fair portion of my life to the PC-based rhythm game Audiosurf (http://www.audio-surf.com/) -- like a strange mixture of DDR, Guitar Hero, Amplitude and F-Zero, Audiosurf lets you upload your own music and will chart the note paths for it's many gameplay modes accordingly, in a unique and entertaining way that turns your song into an interactive visual, with online scoreboards to compare with friends and stuff.
However, a lot of us may have some favorites that are really obscure, and a s a result, likely will have little to no competition against (or even a way to compare scores at al.) Stormdragonblue went ahead with what I planned to do beforehand, picking a select handful of his favorite songs and uploading them for anyone who wishes to play'em in Audiosurf -- now only does it allow us to compete against each other, but may even allow us to share some interesting songs as well. (Particularily if some people have the same songs, but the embedded tags do not match as this is important for the online scoreboards.) So I have done the same! I encourage anyone who likes Audiosurf to get in on the idea, putting together a pack of some of your favorite tracks (size doesn't matter, although I'd say not much more'n 50 at most for time's sakes), identifying their key genres, uploading 'em to a site (be it a personal FTP or a site like MegaUpload) and the posting 'em up here for your friends to try out. If enough people do it, we could have a neat little community going on~
Regardless, here's mine: http://www.megaupload.com/?d=KL8AY1PL
It's mainly Chiptunes, Various Electronic Styles, mixed with some gentler Ambient and Piano Solos -- with a few Video Game songs mixed in. ;3
tl;dr?
Here's the plan:
1) Get Audiosurf (You do have it, don't you?)
2) Gather together a pack of 20-50 of your favorite songs
3) Re-tag them if you want (Lots of programs can do this)
4) Zip'em all up and upload them to an FTP or a site like https://www.megaupload.com
5) Post a journal like this one, making your pack public!
6) Be sure to include at least a description of the genres involved, if not a full track list.
7) In the same journal, make a list like the one below linking to other people who've done the same!
Here, I'll compile an active list of anyone else who's made such a pack!

metalstorm ► http://www.furaffinity.net/journal/314984/
hildarayner ► http://www.furaffinity.net/journal/315302/
C'mon now, I wanna see this list fill up with more of you!
I'll gladly download other people's and try'em out if they're willing to pitch in. I encourage anyone who takes part in this event to also put a list linking to other people's packs, too, to spread awareness of the whole idea. Some might think it's dumb, but I think it's kinda neat. Allows some obscure songs to get some coverage and all. <3
So, um, I guess that's all. x3!
Expect to see and hear more from me in the near future, with some time off to devote to drawing and such! :3

Mixed by ME a few days ago.
And the mix isn't really what we're looking for. (It might serve the purpose as one long song, instead.)
However, I will say, that it is pretty damn hella chippy-tight.
Mostly punk, electronic, and a bit of ska and some other stuff. Full tracklist in my journal: http://www.furaffinity.net/journal/314336/
