But do you exspect everyone to just be mashing there F5 key to get a chance to do this? Some of us do have lives and trying to catch something like this is just.. well its depressing to me.

no, I expect the first person to comment to post a ref picture which I draw, if you don't like it don't. It's a luck thing, being in the right place at the right time.

So you expect others to jump through hoops for something no one else is able to do just out of friendliness? This world has really become that senile that we have to entertain ourselves by having people waste there time.

And no I personally am not liking these "Catch me if you can." journals for free art. The whole thing should just be dropped because seriously its turning everyone into a little circus act trying to jump for a treat. Once its gone, no luck for you till next time.

*nods* I can understand what you say, and I can say that I would like to have a sketch. I think in all true honesty that I am wanting to place my opinion up here is due to the matter that each time I have been able to be lucky to get something like this, in the end Iv been stiffed.

So in seeing something like this and the chances being dangled infront of my face now, with how bus I get on other things, it does make me feel abit emotional seeing this happen.
So umm... uea, this has turned from a rant into a whine... I think Ill go now...

I missed the boat, dang. Ah well, I've managed to get in on things like this before. Personally, I think it's fun! Adds some excitement to your day when you just happen to be there at the right time.

If you DO camp out for these things, perpetually refreshing your FA page all day, then that's kinda... sad. <.<

(Oh, and if you're not tired of drawing by my comment here still, I can post something akin to a reference, though my character's details are still rather fuzzy. :P)

These are good ideas but they always get flooded by people groping for freebie art -.- even I answer these but I've decided not to on 's last two journals cause I'm polite. And I'm not gonna flood with ref pics of my characters either. But keep up the good work

Yay, grats to those who got it. I agree. It's just a fun little way to possibly get great art from a talented artist like Brushfire. It's not meant to incite drama, and people shouldn't be poor sports if they don't get in on time. That's life, and perhaps you'll get lucky next, assuming this hasn't soured Brush on a next time =/
