Illustrator already have a very efficient perspective tool.

well isn't that what Illustrator is sorta made for? This way you can draw stuff in PS without having to dump it in Illustrator just for that one tool.

it's the contrary - Illustrator makes vectorial drawings, so you draw the perspective and all on it and just import the shapes to Photoshop, really easy if you ask me.

Yes, you make a good point. But not everyone has Illustrator. And this artist made it for artisst who just have Photoshop only. (and gives it away for free!)
I have seen artist zigzag between Illustrator,photoshop,manga studio, Sai Paint tool, etc. Using all types of tricks in doing comic book work.

Oh yes, normally graphic designers get the Design Standard or Design Premium suites, and they include both Photoshop and Illustrator on it.

Yeah I know they're expensive, but they make the suite because wach program has its own application, many ppl doesn't know because they only use Photoshop.
