Yep, looks like another move is on the horizon.
This one's a bit different though.
About four years ago I moved out here to Utah to be with my mate
slashydarkwulf.
The first place we were in was tiny and cramped with horrible roommates.
We were only there for a few months while I found a job then we moved to a much nicer place with some actual friends. That lasted about a year and a half before the friends wanted to move on, go back to school, etc. We were going to stay on, but the complex's policies meant no pets and a good friend that wanted to move in couldn't.
Enter location #3. A decentish sized duplex near downtown. A yard and driveway and so forth. Nice enough, but the building is old. As time has gone by there have been more and more annoyances with the place, many stemming from the landlord that just doesn't give a damn unless it could mean less money for him somehow.
Which brings me to this upcoming move. To a house of our own =^-^=
Yup, this tiger is buying a house to live with his wuff in.
My parents are helping me immensely with the down payment. I'm already pre-approved for more than any of the places we've been looking at online. And the realtor I was referred to is working on setting up viewings as early as tonight.
Depending on the house we pick, we could be moving in as early as a month from now!
I'll be honest, I'm about as much nervous as I am excited. This is a huge deal really. A big step in my life, and my life with Wuffles.
I'm not looking forward to the actual moving bit (soooo much crap >_>), but this should be the last time for a long time.
