The animation work is quite impressive. And I like how you have a choice. You can choose assists to call out, OR forgo them, and gain a boost to your meter. Which I just deduced, is used to activate your supers/hypers/distortions/ectra.

Sadly, companies will be wary to follow methods of exploration like this. Capcom is too much of a coward to try anything new. And I use them only as an example because they're most infamous for rehashing things over and over.

you mean Ark System Designs or SNK. I don't think Capcom is interested in doing sprite based stuff that much any more. oh, also, they'd release a new version of Pokemon Type: Wild every 3 months with 4 new characters and spectator mode.

nothing. I've been following Type Wild for quite some time now... I've also kinda been following Smogon's Create-A-Pokemon fighter. both fun times. My jab was more at Capcom, who have been catching a lot of crap lately.

Most intriguing...but I hope that's not the final lineup. Having nine fighters to start with, and two of them from the same evolutionary chain...there's better options than that.

The only thing that really bugs me is Gengar's loud yelling of "NIN-YA!!!" over and over. Other than that, it's really very good. Smooth animation over most Mugen engines.

It's a little late now, but I think back in the day, when Pkemon was at it's peak, they should of made a Pokemon MMO. They would of had all my money.

I remember playing this game and it was out for some years now

And I don't want Capcom to touch Pokemon at least until they stop being terminally greedy and stupid. Also considering that this is based on the anime (with the Gengar being from Mystery Dungeon) I also doubt Nintendo would get too involved into the TV show now a days; the days of Yellow was the only time where the games admitted that there was a TV series, now I am not sure it is aware that it even exists.

That's a massive lack of mandetory DLC and GEMS to be Capcom.

Also, Gardevoir plays like Magneto and Seth had a baby. And Breloom is some crazy mix of Duo Lon, Ralf, and Kyo.

Also also; massive lack of OG starter Pokemon.
