Role Reversal

For years we've heard about how companies outsourced jobs to move their operations to some god unknown country or province. Innocent people lost their homes and other necessities over it, personally I blame the Government. Very rarely are decisions made to help the people in this country, mostly those who make daily decisions to pay rent, have electric, or get the medicines they need. There's very damn little justification for the sudden spikes in cost of living, materials haven't changed and unless remodeling has been done the shitholes they try to pass as living space aren't worth half the price they're charging.
I'm noticing a trend at my workplace that's in one had a good thing but in the other a disaster waiting to happen. Rather than move operations overseas they're bring the overseas workers here. It takes the jobs born citizens could of had, income they need to survive and contribute to our way of life. However the jobs are going to people who need the money more in one sense or another, it doesn't make it right but I suppose it's better then giving the jobs to rich kids or people. My main concern is their lack of restraint. When I started we didn't have as many Africans in the warehouse. Now we have tons. I'm not racist, I don't sit here thinking they should be shipped back to wherever they come from, but my concern is with my safety and the safety of those I work with.
There doesn't seem to be requirements or stipulations. People who speak damn little, or no, english are allowed to hop onto forklifts and other variants and work around, or with, dangerous things. So what happens if you yell at one of them that someone is in their path, or something is about to fall? I myself almost got ran over by a driver when he failed to yield at a dedicated " crosswalk " and because he speaks no english he didn't understand what I was saying. Instead he jerked his head around trying to figure out who was yelling, and why. Thank god I wasn't stupid enough to bank on him stopping or swerving around me, otherwise I'd be like my brethren in the museums. No sir ... this reptile likes breathing thank you very much.
