I talked to the site owner about that and he needs to modify that section because it is. 3D models, sculptures, crafting, etc. as long as the photos aren't crap. X3

Oh, phew. That's a relief!

So what's the big deal about Nabyn? People keep talking about it but never say why it's anything besides another bandwagon site that people jump on for a month and then wander back to FA.

It's not furry-centric like this site so there is a wider variety of subjects and artwork, it's not deviant-art-kiddie-filled so it's community doesn't suck, and it has amazing and unique things no other art sites have like sketchbooks: http://www.nabyn.com/sketchbook.php?id=543 , character galleries: http://www.nabyn.com/characters.php?id=1632 , a chat/shoutbox on the front page, critique center: http://www.nabyn.com/ccenter.php , custom page skins/templates (which are really fun imo) and many other things.

The owner is very nice and attempts to always be in contact. The server is fast so you don't get 503 errors and mega slowdown.. there is a small community and it's not page-view/attention based. In fact you can't even see your pageviews! Your page has "AP" or "activity points" based off of how active you are on the site commenting, looking at stuff, and generally being a part of the community! :) It doesn't allow photography to avoid a bunch of.. junk-photos people try to pass off as photography. It's mainly 2D art based. There is also many other neat things in the works for it currently.
