Are these people actually serious?!

Why the FUCK is anyone "apologizing" for things that happened centuries ago that don't concern us here in the present the least bit!

I wasn't there for when this happened, and even if my ancestors WERE somehow a part of the slavery thing, that in NO way reflects on me. Those people are dead and not even dust and bones in their graves anymore, they're just GONE.

My anthropology teacher said it best: "I won't apologize to the Native Americans. What happened to them was terrible. But I wasn't there. I'm not responsible. I've got nothing to be sorry for."
