Dancing tonight was so awesome I just had to post about it. I've been trying to get back in the dancing groove since being gone all Winter Break (I wimped out last week, and tripped over my own feet all night the week before), but boy am I glad I decided to man up and go out dancing tonight.

What really got me back out on the floor was the music tonight. An awesome mix of slow tunes, and, get this, Fifties Rock and Roll. Now that's what I'm talkin' about. I got to dance to Buddy Holly, Bill Haley, and all the others. I even managed to take one of the best follows in the place out to swing to "That'll Be the Day" (boy do I love that song) and managed to pull off 8-count moves without looking like a total ass.

And woo, the party rocked all night. I cut out after the Shim Sham, but I really busted a move. Danced with some new chicks, and reconnected with some regulars. Even got to try out my new black jeans. :D (totally keeping the look. I think I pull off all black with a colorful neck scarf well. A girl even told me that my red ascot was cute. >w< )

So cannot wait for next week. Free movie, then dancing all night. I LOVE the Century Ballroom.
