I would argue that showing someone you like them is better than telling them; while words are easily broken, actions tend to generally have more weight. Showing someone you like them is also harder to do, but is much more appreciated!

Then again, I might just be weird.

There are several that "fit" this particular bill (for me). I don't really have a favorite, but there are some I like more than others. I tend to map music to particular periods of my life, so the songs below are in roughly chronological order for the points in my life in which I heard them. 1) Thanks. That really is, ideally, what I would want to do with my partner: just live life. I think that's the most romantic thing that anyone can really do with their partner is sharing their life with them, every day in some way.

2) DISTANCE -- The anime would be about an unnamed character who's been searching for a lost child named Sadishe Paltaram for a very long time and trying to understand the mystery surrounding why it's to hard to find them. The mystery would continue to escalate as a number of protagonists enter the scene -- a bounty hunter, a corrupt government official. The unnamed hero receives aid from an unlikely person, a young man who was unintentionally involved. Towards the end of the anime, the young man is held back and the unnamed main character ends up discovering that the person he's been searching for this entire time is himself. Enter the young man again, who, at this point, has seen the problem and understands it but has no idea how to resolve it. In the end, the unnamed character and the person he was searching for escape, though to where it's unknown, leaving the young man to ponder the reality of the entire thing.

3) It's one of my favorite gay movies, and there aren't many of them out there that're actually good. I also recommend The Birdcage.

4) Maybe. It would be nice, but I also understand that I am a very strange person compared to many people of this day and age; some of the values I hold were considered obsolete even when I was a child.
