Mental Note: Things I Need
So, I keep losing the paper version of this >_>'' I will be updating this as I need to add new things or as I need to take things off.
Item:
Aromatherapy Spa Blanket
Price:
$55
Reasoning:
This blanket contains mint and lavender scents, both of which I have proven help with my fibromyalgia. I also get very cold in the winter and I even use a blanket through most of summer. The heat helps relax my fibromyalgia, and having a blanket that I can microwave would be helpful. I do have an electric blanket, but there are sometimes when wrapping myself in fleece would be more useful/doable. There are also some times when I cannot take my electric blanket - like cuddling on the couch to watch a movie! I feel like this would be worth the monetary investment, even if I know I won't be able to afford it right away.
Item:
Pajama Jeans
Price:
~$40
Reasoning:
Because - they are - epic!!!
No, but seriously, I do have a reasoning.
I love the style and look of jeans, but I experience some difficulty when wearing them sometimes. Because of my fibromyalgia, if I sit on them, or it is too much pressure, they can even be painful. It would be nice to have something soft and comfortable that I could wear around the house, or even out with friends.
Item:
Drawing Pencils Kit
Price:
$12
Reasoning:
To have something better then a set of $1 Wal-Mart pencils to make my sketches with ;) I feel this would better my art.
Item:
Electric Pencil Sharpener
Price:
$25
Reasoning:
Because, at the moment, I have a dollar-store hand sharpener that likes to eat my pencils and break my lead.
Item:
High Quality Hand Sharpener
Price:
$13
Reasoning:
Same as above, except that some pencils, I have found, respond better to a hand-crank sharpener then an electric one.
Item:
Artist Pens
Price:
Varies
Reasoning:
So that I can provide Inked traditional sketches. Eventually maybe even traditional images with color. The set I am most interested in to start with is the "Manga Drawing, Set of 4", which is $6.
Item:
Smudgeguard Art Glove
Price:
$17
Reasoning:
I hate smudging an image I have worked on for hours, and I also dislike the black remaining on my hand. As I become more serious about my art, I find myself finding more things that I could use.
