Probably not, but it certainly helps :D I wanna hear what everyone's got to say!

In general, it's cute. It's also one of the post-Gen1 designs that isn't a total eyesore, even if it is a little bit vivid in colour. As for mechanics, it's also extremely fun; while not in any way outstanding in any areas outside of speed, it's versatile. A mix of physical and special moves in a wide variety of types mean you could have one filling almost any role in your team.

Haha xD Charizard is a pretty cool speciemen ;) All huge and flamey and stuff. Very intimidating fighter.

And typically fits my full-offensive style, as long as you set em up right *nods* 1 hit ko's ftw!

Lots of good out-of-game utility, too. Big strong flier can carry people or objects easily, and the tail means you don't have to worry about campfires or torches :D

I adore Sawsbuck <3 seasonal form, grass/normal neat combo, and a great passive ability in Sap Sipper, gaining Atk every time he takes a hit from grass moves. So Vine Whip him to buffness >=D And to top it off, cervine. Like mahself }:3

After that, I favor Infernape and Heracross. They're awesome fighter hybrids.

Yeah, Sawsbuck is a BEAST :D I've got one on my White team. I like the seasonal change too, gives 'em a very dynamic appearance :)

umm - hmm - well.... Dragonair, sleek and beautiful, yet piss one off and you wish you didn't, probably in my mind of insanity on of the most intelligent pokemon in connection with the humans, preferable a she XD

I like Dragonite. Not only is it a rare find, but it is also very intelligent. Combine that with its versatile attack style and you have the perfect pokemon.

Very friendly-looking too, all big and round xD

Scyther. For the simple reason that it's fast, strong, and looks totally wicked. I never leave home without a Scyther. And you could make it look epic.

I never liked Scizor. I would have preferred an evolution for Pinsir, to be honest.

I'll admit, I never really liked Pinsir. Too blocky and plain, especially compared to the awesome that is Scyther. xD

Normally, I would say Houndoom, mainly because they made such a great first impression on me. Back when Gold/Silver came out, we didn't really rely on the Internet to tell us what what we were going to fight, so I first played the game basically blind, and when I took on that last Rocket Executive and she sent out her last Pokemon...I was like...WHOA.

Not only was the Dark type new and pretty exciting, Houndoom just looked awesome. It tore through four of my Pokemon before I finally took it down, so I knew it was powerful too, and while it's not particularly high-end, I just find it's fun to use: great but not game-breaking stats and moves. I even still like its name. Heck, my first RP character ever was an anthro Houndoom.

...But since it's a little predictable for the dog to suggest a Hell hound...

One of my other favorites is Blaziken. Another Pokemon that made a good first impression on me and followed it up with being both stylish and powerful. How awesome would it be to see it in action: kung-fu moves that hit hard and fast, plus fire? ...Yeah, I'm a bit of a pyro when it comes to my preferred Pokemon. It also looks like it'd be right at home in any fighting game, especially over-the-top games like Street Fighter and Smash Bros. Both very cool indeed :3 Game Freak seems hooked on fire/fighting, though. I mean, three starters in a row? A bit much <_< Still, these two are pretty boss, I gotta say :D Lots of burny awesomeness.

Oh, I just thought of another one I have a fondness for! While you already have a Grass starter, Meganium is another one that's close to me. In my original Silver, I picked Chikorita (first: my friends and I swapped Pokemon around until we had all three starters...but who didn't?). When it evolved into Meganium, while it wasn't particularly powerful, I remember it as being quite lucky. It rarely attacked itself when it was confused, it was rarely too paralyzed to move when it was paralyzed, and it seemed to take a bit less and deal a bit more critical hits. Meganiums have been special to me ever since.

In fact, to make a character based on one a tad more unique, perhaps its neck petals could look more like a four-leaf clover?

Haha, a snazzy idea :) Personally, I always liked Bayleef more, the big headleaf over the antennae, but that's more personal taste than anything ;)

Rattata and Jigglypuff. Rattata is the original Rodent and is an absolute terror in generation 1 with Hyper Fang, and totally under rated. My first Pokemorph character was a chef rattata, and it has been one of my favorites ever since.

Jigglypuff is a cute little puffball whose talents go unappreciated due to unintended side effects. Though, I'm sure there'd be some way for a Jiggly to NOT put people to sleep with singing.

Ah, yeah :D Both underappreciated classics. Both terribly cute, too ;) Though I'll admit that in Rattata's case, I'm biased toward little fuzzy things xD
