Ok, as is probably expected, i'm not a big fan of valentines, but i am a hopeless romantic at heart, but still, i hate it. Another reason for us singletons to be filled with more pangs of horrible depression. But this year, for the first time since primary school, i have sent a valentines card, but was struck by the logic that every card has 'to my husband/wife' or 'for my boyfriend/girlfriend'. what the hell happened to the old style 'Be my valentine?' the guesswork, the feeling of having a secret admirer (which is odd, if they hot, they're an admirer, if they're minging, they're a stalker)
But either way, for good or bad, i embraced the internet, and sent an old school anonymous 'Will you be my valentine?' card, and now i'm bricking it...
*le sigh*
