Ohhhh.. Slow start to the year. After the rush of Midfur and work all I have been wanting to do the past few weekends is to relax if a good book.
Currently working throught the Lisanne Norman Sholan series, plus having found some new books from Larry Niven that cover the pre Ringworld series.
Driving to work I also listen to audiobooks - hey - it stops me from speeding as I really do enjoy them.. Only problem is getting out of the car at the end of the journey.
Finished listening to the full Frank Herbert's Dune series running from the pre DUNE all the way to Sandworms of Dune. The ending is interesting and really ties up all the little pieces along the way.
I am now listening to Bill McKays Stargate series which although is not canon it covers the period after the Stargate movie. Just been introduced to the Setim whose description read "Red Furred bipeds with a Wiley Coyote muzzle and fangs", and they are friendly too.
Anyway - slowly getting my posterier in gear so I hope to start to build stuff again.
Oh - recently my name had becomer known as a Fursuit maintainer so i am often called upon to mend seams, replace zippers, and take suits made from 6'2 140kilo guys and make them fit a 5'7 90kilo guy (hey - so I mix up my measurement.. sue me).
Anyway - back to work..
lots of hugs to all
Marc
