It's about twp weeks since I back to university, the class is become harder, for example, operational research...orz Coz my math is no good, study this subject really killing me.
And...the chars I draw recently seens looks more like a adult...don't know why, however, draw different aged chars is also a good thing, a big problem about my arts is that the age of my chars are all alike, maybe it's a good chance to try something different?XD" Or maybe I just think too much.
And coz of the wet weather, I got sick again and my pc got some problem, it restart itself with 0x0000007E problem...mr friends says that's coz of the wet weather, it sometimes happened when I'm drawing and fogot to save....orz
Sorry, don't know what to say, just some complain again - 3-

FA+

I'm already having to learn new things as it is... since when did we start paying to ride the bus??? We used to ride that for free back in school!
it can be caused by both hardware and software problems..
back up what you can and try reinstalling windows, and if that doesnt work (or youve tried it already) then its probally a hardware problem...
Btw, I love how you explain 0x0000007E code~XD
the most common cause of those errors are the ram.
what kind is it and what size? SD? DDR? DDR2? 256 megs? a gig? more?
do you have one stick or two, or more?
if you have two sticks of ram or more, and they are at different speeds (like a pc100 and a pc133, or a ddr660 and a ddr800) it can cause instability in your computer.
My god, just... stop giving computer repair advice. You are not your friend.
FYI, the terms you were looking for were DDR2-667 and DDR2-800.
so i got the numbers wrong. im not a computer tech, but i do know i had a similar problem as this with my last computer, and the ram was the cause because when i upgraded, i had two different speeds of ram, and it made my computer unstable, just like Visark's.
so how about you go back to your private little corner and let me continue trying to be a good helpful canadian who has gone through the same problem and FOUND OUT THE CAUSE.
Let the people with actual experience do this for once. Watch and learn.
quote me exactly where i said 'this is specifically the ram'
i said it COULD be the ram because i had the same problems with mine.

just like Visark's.
Visark, my apologies for this drama in your journal, and please make a new journal when you do find the cause of your system instability.
If you really wanted to say that Visark's problem was the RAM, why didn't you tell him to use MemTest? Honestly.
Unlike Drakiskier here, I actually know what to do in the situation, so I can check the error parameters against MSDN's database for more specific information.
AKA, you have a little piece of paper that says you paid MS alot of money to learn how to become an 'advanced user' which means you learned all about how to open files, adjust properties, open msconfig and run things from a command prompt....
what i was offering was a possible cause for the system instability, not a way to diagnose it, and this comes from PERSONAL EXPERIENCE.
and disabling the automatic restarts doesnt rectify the problem at all, it just leaves you at the BSOD, needing you to MANUALLY restart.
God, you are such a fucking moron. I don't even know where to start with saying how wrong you are.
It's always a good thing to do something different IMHO, the important being in knowing HOW you do it :3
