Yeah I hear you on that one. It's definitely messed up, the police in my city are utter lazy failures and it's common knowledge. All I can do at this point is take steps to ensure it never happens again as the crown has droped the case meaning I can't reopen it.

I don't think they get to 'decide' when a case drops. I am fairly positive if you present the case to a lawyer who believes you have strong backing, it will be reopened with a lawsuit. That is if you can prove it.

Like my ex, she got declined Social Security Benefits twice, took her two years to fight back and in the end she got the money they owed, plus pain and suffering because she was declaired disabled by 5 doctors but they wouldn't accept her application. So she won a huge lump sum plus 2 1/2 years settlement of the Social Security Money they owed her.

The actual incident happend 2 years ago and I denied it and pretended it never happened. I was embarassed that I could get abused a second time so I kind of made it into a joke. and don't worry about the money, it's a generous offer I don't expect it but if I get it I'll be greateful.
