Any Chico Furs Looking for Housing for Fall 08?
I just found out that my two current roomies will be leaving at the end of their lease, come May 31st and will not be returning for Fall 08 term. So that leaves me in the position of looking for two new roomies for next school year.
Here are some of the stats on the house and available rooms:
- 2 rooms available in a fully furnished 3 bed/2 bath house; computer desks and twin beds in each room
- excellent, park-like suburban neighborhood; very quiet and safe
- 1 mile from the CSU Chico campus
- small backyard in the process of being fixed up; fire pit and covered patio
- Rent: $475/mo + one-time $400 security deposit (returned when you leave)
- Tenant pays proportion of PG&E (observed min of $34 and max of $190 over the past 3 years)
- Owners pay for water, local phone, wireless DSL, home association fees, and garbage
- Fully appointed kitchen in terms of appliances; indoor washer and dryer
- garage room for a small to medium-sized car
- small animal-friendly
- totally GLBTQ-friendly
- totally furry-friendly
- nerd-friendly
- no drugs; smoking outdoors if necessary
- on-site manager (I make sure shit gets fixed quick cuz I live there too!)
- indoor cat in residence
Some info on me, if you're interested:
- Double-majoring in Comm Design and Philosophy; rather studious
- not a partier in the usual college sense of the word; I like doing occasional dinner parties
- I am social on the small scale; I frequently have friends over to hang out, but nothing grand
- Night owl
- A tad OCD about the kitchen
- I run D&D games on Saturday
If you are interested, drop me a line, or if you know someone who might be interested, send them my way. Of course, if this sort of thing is not allowed on this forum, sorry; feel free to remove it.
You can contact me on AIM or YIM under the screen name "AdmYrrek", or here!
Also, Monday Digital Art will once again have to be postponed due to school intrusion. Sorry.

I'm good as far as living arrangements go, but I'll mention you around to any of my furry friends. Good luck finding some people!

thanks, I appreciate any and all added exposure I can get. I had this happen once before and it didn't end well. Luckily i'm starting two months earlier, but still...

Sounds like a nice arrangement you have going there! Good luck with finding some people. I'll mention it to some folks I know, but I think most of the Chico furs have already congregated into houses together.
