Back in the land of the ice and the... not so cold?

So I just got home from my long trip to Arizona. I was sick for the first part of it, some sorta sinus cold thing. No fever, but it was the worst on Sunday when I couldn't hold my eyes open for more then 3 minutes. And it wasn't allergy related, I don't think (I was taking my Clartin).
The first part of the trip was the best weather, and I was at the worst. Thankfully I only had the rental for half of the trip, and that half I was better.
Weather kept me from going to the Grand Canyon on Tuesday, but I met a friend down there, went flyfishing and actually caught something (a dandy trout. I'll have a photo up later).
After catching that trout and seeing a good number of other ones I couldn't get to bite; yeah. I'm seriously thinking about planning a more serious fly
Even though the lighting/weather was very variable due to the weather I still got a good number of photos. I'm sure because of conditions, a lot of them won't turn out. It was a challenge for sure, but now that I know of a few new places that were really cool. I didn't get up to the GC but I got up to Sedona and perhaps my new favorite spot in AZ to go back to next year: Jerome. A historic city built right into the side of a mountain. The views are absolutely breathtaking and I'm sure the photos I got under poor conditions won't give it justice.
But I do have a lot of photos to sort through over the next few days. So yeah, glad I could get out. That being said; its good to be home *flops on the couch*
