I lost my last baby tooth today.
Yeah, really.
That's the short version. Long version down here ----V
So yeah, I still had a baby tooth until today. Starboard-side canine tooth, upper jaw. When I was in the sixth grade, my adult tooth started growing in, but my baby tooth hadn't yet fallen out. So what happened is the adult canine tooth grew in way up high on my gumline. So, I had this big canine tooth that grew in perfectly straight down, but still elevated above the normal part of the gumline.
It was my fang. I didn't really advertise it much, but I had it, and I thought it was f*ing awesome. Well, with today's development, I expect my adult canine tooth to finally start migrating down towards the proper spot where it belongs, thusly ending the reign of my fang.
FAQ:
Q1: Didn't that hurt?
A: No it didn't hurt at all. I mean yea, technically my teeth were crowded in that area, but I had no pain in that region, ever.
Q2: Are you sure it was a baby tooth? Maybe it was a chunk off a different tooth or this or that...?
A: Yes. I lost my canine tooth on the left side about three years ago. You know, when you've had something all your life, it's pretty easy to keep track of it. Yes it was a baby tooth. And certainly it had seen better days. I need to floss more often.
Q3: Did you keep it?
A: Slightly morbid as it may be, yes, I wrapped it up in clear tape that I had handy at work. Speaking of work, I asked my boss if he'd give me a tooth fairy bonus since it popped out while I was on the job. He said no.

I have all my adult teeth including my wisdom teeth. At my age the difficult part is keeping them.
