Honestly? I'll go either or. Giants are a lot of fun 'cause you can watch other tinies get it before you do. On the other hand, being shrunken down is fantastic for one-on-one confrontations.

Personally I prefer shrinking. Tiny creatures in an average sized world.
Allows for fun little things such as stuffing or 'accidentally' finding them in your clothing.
while also possible with a macro, it's not a surprise to see that.
Nobody expects the guy sitting next to them on the bus to have a collection of micros in his pocket. :>
