i couldn't agree more, the media is treating her like she was some national treasure. i'll give credit where it's due and say she had a great singing voice, but it's not like she was murdered and died before her time.

yup, and she only made a handfull of albums. i think the main reason she's getting so much press is because she laid out all her personal baggage in front of Oprah not too long ago and i guess was trying to clean herself up. i expected the media coverage when Michael Jackson died cuz love him or hate him, he was in the industry pretty much all his life and had rabid fans worldwide. Whitney getting all this praise and coverage just doesn't make much sense to me =/
