What's important is you tried. I just can't get myself to ask for those sort of things to go to a convention for example like asking for money and such.

As an exception, I have asked for local friends and someone to be a handler for me to go fursuiting, but that's about it I think. Unfortunately folks tell me to shut up about that as I keep talking about it all the time. I still have no friends in the East Bay to do things with nor someone to be a handler. It happens. It's not a fail thing.
