Update on Me

General
I'm feeling better, emotionally... about as better as someone who both lost their family pet a day after loosing their job can be.
About 3 months ago I made a journal about how my job in the IT department turned out to not be a permanent position (contrary to what I'd been lead to believe) and would be coming to an end at the end of Fall term. Well, thankfully, that didn't happen. The department head managed to get some extra money to keep paying for my position "for about 30 days", as he said it, but the actual position lasted until the 16th of February. What makes matters slightly worse is the fact that I offered my services to them as a volunteer, but they can't even let me do that (which kinda makes sense, since it'd be no doubt a violation of some rule if you let some random volunteer have access to your phone systems). So right now, aside from school and the Pathfinder RPG sessions I'm in, one I'm even DMing even, I'm unable to do anything, and a gap is not a good thing to have on a resume.
For the moment, though, my best bet is to hopefully find some work at the job fair that's going to happen at my college in a few days. Failing that, I did find out about a job position in Tacoma, Washington for a hospital; they're looking for some Health IT people and they're willing to relocate you if you get the position.
I'm actually really hoping I can get that job and get the chance to move. Tacoma really isn't anything special to me, but it'd finally give me a chance to not have to live with my parents.
