I'll throw my 2 cents in here.

I really really liked your commission you did for DaZtek, not so much for the content, but for the mood it captured. If you draw to capture a mood as opposed to a character i think this would be pretty neat.

I do struggle with emotions, yes, so I'm going to give myself a little challenge and centre some pictures around one emotion... will see what happens xDD

Perhaps its not really that important how many watchers you have. Its a cliche, I know. I think you are going to have more of an uphill battle there because you won't draw porn (not sayin' you should change your stance on that.) Now I put you on a downer, lets lift your spirits with some plagerized advice:

Do something that will get you noticed. Some of the better known artists like fan art and they often give shout outs when they receive some. And if that is a little too sycophantic then;

Comment more.

Fave more.

Make an advert.

Hold an art competition or raffle (but don't call it that) as those are always popular.

As for the kind of art I want to see from you: More dynamic poses. In a lot of your art the characters are just standing there (mine do too but that's neither here nor there) :-P

One seemingly small thing I think has a bit of an impact actually is your username, as odd as that may sound (do bear with me on this one :P). People know of you as Blizzard as an artist, but you're under the willow username online. Whilst I'm sure there's a very good reason for it, a lot of people do seem to treat names similar to how they treat brands, so if its not the same or similar everywhere, then it becomes harder to be remembered.

To a certain degree though, things are always going to be limited sheerly by the adult slant of the community, and sometimes you have to ask yourself whether you really want the recognition as it would probably require you to draw art you may just not want to draw. No matter how many times furs angrily argue that the community 'isn't all about the sex ;.;', this isn't reflective of what the majority are actually looking for. Most furs swarm those artists drawing porn, xyz fetish or mature art, and overlook anyone who doesn't, irrespective of the quality they may put out. It's a similar situation most furry writers find themselves in too; they can write the most emotive and high quality piece of literary work ever. But without some shitty same-old yiff scene for 20 pages, barely anyone casts a glance. I've known a few very talented artists who used to avoid anything adult and do some lovely work, but have changed their stance just to get the millions of views. I have to admit I've lost a bit of respect for those people as well as to me it seems they've put numbers and quantity ahead of quality and what they wanted to do. :( As annoying as it is, this is one of those you just have to weigh up the importance of in your own mind though. You could get 50 faves/comments on every piece, but would you really want to if you know 49 people were only there because they're hanging on in the hope you'll draw more bewbs, or would you prefer 1 comment from someone you know is following you because they genuinely appreciate all the art you do?

the thing with the username is pretty irrelevant in my eyes to be honest xD lol, cos if you search "Blizzard Magolf" into the search thing, it WILL come up with my pictures -shrugs- and tbh, if you search "blizzard" it comes up with a million and one things that is not me so it's just aswell I don't have that as a username xD lol maybe I might move to having Blizzard Magolf as my username one day, but I've had this account since 2007... so I don't really want to have to get those watchers and views back again >.>
