So I realized while sketching that I almost never... NEVER draw belly buttons. At first I thought I never did at all, but then I found a sparse few pics that did have characters with navels. It's just... Holy crap, does everybody else draw belly buttons normally? Is this just some blatant aspect of anatomy I've nearly ignored my entire life?

Usually I draw people topless (I like torsos) and so they usually have belly buttons. However I suppose if you were an ultra-realistic artist, anything more than a half-inch of fur could cover that little stomach dimple.
(So yeah, you're not wrong you're just being realistic without knowing it ;))
