gonna stop doing 5$ art on FA for a while

...yeah i know, bummer.
i'm gonna do ATCs and other things, but 5$ arts are temporarily discontinued.
porque?
because some people are just kinda...well, rude about it. they ask me to do what are frankly pretty big projects (sequential images, extremely complex characters, detailed costumes) and as soon as i tell them that's not really within the realm of 5$ art and quote them a real price?
they just up and vanish.
man that's just not cool, okay? that's really very rude, in fact :|
i dunno i guess it's a few bad apples spoiling it for everyone, but either way, i'm not gonna do that again here for a while.

it's like oh i like your art enough to ask you to do this rediculously specific complex thing
but not enough to pay you more than a quarter of minimum wage for it
Well, with some downtime, maybe it will help.

if it was just like one dude who got busy and lost track of time (like you) i can understand it. but it's almost always i go "well that will cost you ___" and they disappear.
and i don't think my prices are that unreasonable, i mean. the most i charge is 50$, and that's for a freakin full colour comic page. most people charge 75$ for just inks. :\
