you don't need drawings, only descriptions, or even a feeling, a mutual connection to your own animal personality, i loved wolves at a very young age, even dreamed about them. i found out my indian spirit is the lone wolf, even a gypsie, said i had somewhat a wolf essance around me.

hmm slyness and manipulative, Benevolent, loving/caring........Well I am writing a story and I suppose I'm kinda saying it is my Fursona....

yup, I am putting some of my characteristics into him and all my chars. They will all hold certain aspects of my indivualism :)

Why put laws/rules on fantasy? I'd say trying to add rules to things such as what you want your fursona to be is in itself, taking things a little too seriously.

Tell that to DnD, Magic the gathering, and crap, sure there games, but rules are implied there

this is just my personal views on how i thing people should take the furry fandom in a sense, when i talk to someone, and they say \" im a shape shifter\" it makes me feel like there very indecisive, and cannot find there true inner beast

I know what you're getting at, I really do. Heck, it can be a tad tedious sometimes when you can't keep up with an individual's fursona, but this isn't D&D, MTG ect.

Even if you want to use that as a comparison, don't forget; You don't always have the same deck of cards, and you don't always play the same character in D&D. It's about being someone different. Being a furry is about being who you want to be, if you take that away, then you may as well not be here at all. Note, by "you" I mean people overall.

Because I can incorporate food into everrrythiiiiing ;3). Either way, yeah, I know it's your opinion, I just don't think it's very well justified, s'all. But hey, free speech and everything. We can both share our opinions :D.

Maybe they feel as if they could be two different animals. I know I'm sorta a cat now but didn't I draw myself as a rabbit a few times? I'm not sure if that's even still me though. I...don't know. You know I'm an indecisive person anyway. >_< But I'm not going to have a shapeshifter. There is Sabulana Kitty and the rabbit is called Suzuya. Different people but still aspects of me, I guess. Perhaps I should draw her properly...

But I don't think there should be an age limit or a time limit to deciding what animal you are. People change after all, and though they may think of themselves as say, a cat once upon a time, later in life they may find they are more like a dog or a kangeroo or something.

I'm not sure of my opinion on 'shapeshifters' though. This is all fantasy, and I'm reluctant to put any rules in my fantasies. Obviously I do in my writing. A new world cannot be completely lawless but in my own head, when it's just me and the voices and no story, there should not be any rules.

But you are free to beleive what you want, after all. Nobody should stop you or try to change you, wolfcub. Remember that, okay. *hugs*
