This will be the first time a sequel has been made directly. Gold and Silver was an expansion with a different story, but this will be an actual sequel.

I don't know whether to be excited or to brace myself for disappointment.

Hey ARE Nintendo after all, I'm pretty sure it will be a great success.

Considering it hasn't even been a year since Black and White were released, I don't think it would be practical to expect the next generation already.

I don't think they're gonna switch to the 3DS without sending the series into a new gen. Switching to the 3DS means rebuilding the game engine and updating all the sprites and graphics... I don't think they'd go through that much trouble for anything that wouldn't be the next gen.

If they add anything, even cosmetic, I hope they actually allow your pokemon to follow you around again like in Heartgold and Soulsilver. I was really dissappointed when they removed that in black and white

Not too sure about the new Kyurem formes though. They almost look awesome, but there are bits that are wierd. And I'm curious to see how they do the typing for it. Ice/Fire and Ice/Electric?
