What do you think of artists who air their dirty laundry in public? As in, they break up with someone and then go on a rampage about this and that, giving their side of the story and making sure their ex looks completely in the wrong.

I have felt bitter as a lot of people have in the past, so somehow I can understand why they do it, but I do agree things should remain as quiet as posible

I can't assume to know how much you spend on commissions.. BUT.. if you weren't buying them, what would you be using that money on?

When deciding on what you want drawn, do you tell the artist exactly what you want down to the last detail, or give them a general idea of what you'd like, but give them artist freedom to draw it out?

People (may) assume that you're on this sort of hormone-driven conquest to shag (in art form) all the "populfurs"-fursonas/characters/whatever. Do you simply enjoy knowing that an artist was willing enough to draw you with their character or ... is there some sort of.. secret agenda behind it all..? *cue dramatic music*


I'm aware that in the past (and present!) you have lots of people making assumptions about your character being drawn with other characters; as in, if you're shagging them you MUST be shagging them IRL and/or dating them IRL -- which is all bunk.

For the first one I always ask the artist what their preference is, since some get overwhelmed when asked for accurate details and others are to lazy to come up with their own.

As for the second, is more simple than you think.
First I hate pin ups of my characters, is repetitive and boring so I go with two characters pictures, but if I had two of my own characters drawn over and over it would be just as boring. So when asking an artist to provide one of their own characters I achieve two things, a bit of variety and an increase of quality on the picture, since an artist drawing the character they own is going to be easier for them since they are used to it.
So yeah, they are no hidden agenda or fetish on wanting to shag all fictional characters in the fandom
