yay hiking!

today i went hiking with Allysia and we took photos of random stuff. at one point we came across a whole hillside of moqui marbles the size of fricken softballs. so expect some photos of those things. :D
the weirdest part though, was the silence. it was so quiet out there today!!! usually, you can hear bugs and the wind, or some car or airplanes even, but nope. it was eerie, especially for me, 'cause i tend to feel uneasy when there's complete silence. so i just cranked up whatever was playing in my head at the time (which happened to be Marilyn Manson lol) to drown out the quiet.
but it was cool. i practiced using the zoom on Allysia's camera and that was real fun. and we found this old barbed wire fence that had fallen over, so i tried to get some good shots of that, but i'm not sure how well they turned out. :P
anywho, yeah. i'll post a bunch of pics from that hike...eventually. i have trig homework to do first. >.<
