If I meet someone new, I talk to them like they are my friend and when we actually are friends we will talk all the time. If I have to be the one to always send the message saying hi, then that's fine. If I always have to do it for a good length of time then i will stop to see if the person cares enough to start the conversation. And I dont talk to them for a long time, then I'm like forget you and I move on. And if I get a text from that person a couple months after then Im like okay hi. And then we start over the whole thing till I get pissed enough an just stop texting you in general
