So, I was just browsing around on my usual sites this morning and thinking as I'm apt to do. As I sat there, the thought crossed my mind that some people... are really not truthful. I've been involved in so many cases where someone will tell me what I want to hear to keep my complacent, only to be told be later what really was going down; this usually happens when they're in deep shit and the beans are about to be spilled, anyway.

So, I ask you, anyone who is reading this, how do you deal with people who withhold information from you when it inconveniences them, but when you get closer and closer to the truth, they finally have no other choice but to spill it? And when they do spill it and act like they should be a victim given the circumstances, what do you say to them?

This has no bearing on anything too recent, just an idle thought I had while reflecting on my various interactions with people.
