So today wasn't really all that exciting, though it certainly was a bearable night at work. I work at a grocery store that isn't known for having happy employees if you get my meaning. This Friday I procured a job on campus and start Monday morning. So, realizing I had nothing to fear, I decided to tell everyone what I really thought of them, or rather, what my first impressions of them had been. None of it was mean of course, but I can be a very frank person and so I usually tone that back so that others don't feel awkward around me. In the course of the night my being a furry came up and I then had to explain to others what exactly that meant. This happened because I told one of my coworkers that when I first met him I thought he was a furry, specifically a cat. He seemed surprised and I got the third degree from the rest of the people I work with, but I didn't really mind. However, as he was leaving, he motioned me closer and got my phone number. He then explained that I was right, and that he was actually a blue tiger, but that no one there knew.
