Straight up. I've been in the fandom since I was a kid, going on a decade now, and that's with interaction in public. I've seen so much lack of respect between eachother. Sure we all might be accepting, but then go behind backs and talk shit. It really disgusts me when I find someone who I consider a friend but doesn't feel the mutul friendship. I know others feel the same. The ones that seem to be doing ok are the ones that leave their furry side solely online and never or rarely attends cons or have friends outside of the internet. What I'm pretty much trying to say is my friendships mean a lot to me. And when I see it being abused it hurts.
